The Blade X1 is a compact vertical-axis wind turbine that uses advanced venturi technology to deliver continuous clean energy for homes and businesses. It produces up to 2.4 kW of peak power (around 310 W at an average wind speed of 8 m/s) and starts generating from wind speeds as low as 3 m/s. Standing 1,400 mm tall on a 600 mm base and weighing roughly 64 kg, its shaftless rotor design makes it ideal for both residential and commercial flat-roof installations.
Installation & mounting
Thanks to its lightweight 64 kg vertical-axis design, the Blade X1 mounts easily on both residential and commercial structures with a flat roof. The unit ships with a 1,000 mm cable and X1 Plug connector, and its control box carries an IP68 protection rating for reliable outdoor operation across a wide temperature range of −40 °C to +60 °C. For safety, the turbine features a double braking system and operates safely up to a maximum wind speed of around 20 m/s. Installation should always be carried out by a Cell Technologies certified installer.
Warranty & support
Every Blade X1 comes with a 2-year standard manufacturer warranty. This can be extended to 10 years when the system is installed and commissioned by a Cell Technologies certified installer. The turbine is engineered to comply with IEC 61400-2 and CE standards, and is backed by our certified installer network to ensure long-term reliability for your infrastructure.
